I am speculating on whether to get AvP or Metro 2033.

I am leaning towards AvP, but it didn't get a good rating from some users and from many critics.

Which one?

Decided: Getting AvP.

Been looking at reviews and previews, AvP has bad controls, and a repetitive campaign, but Metro has underpowered guns, and it is pretty much a generic shooter. AvP lets you be Pred, Alien, or Marine. Metro lets you be the main character.

AvP reviews from critics and some users say it sucks, but most users say it rocks. Gameinformer says "AvP reminds you of the old days, but fails to recapture them."

I never played the old days. Whatever. Getting AvP. Thank you, alpha.

Yeah it is kind of repetitive campaign, kinda sketchy controls, short campaigns too, but friggin awesome gameplay. and i meant new post in Mass effect, I don't like posting two posts in a row, double posting.
