Pioneer Rp

Zero and me have been talking about creating a new future rp, heres all the information so far


This is early futuristic, there is no warp gates yet, and theres no warp drives either.
Right now, it takes 1-3 years to get to a different solar system outside of earth. There is currently 8 solar systems that can substain life. Since it takes a long time to travel between, each solar system is a different faction.
My solar system is Alpha centuari with a earth like planet 3 times bigger than earth (max is 3 times bigger) (Max of 3 times bigger is 2 other solar systems allowed)
Bioweapons and psionic powers are illegal (banned) (banned as in your under arrest if we find you with this) This is due to some unfortane incidents....

Zeros faction is currently in civil war, Zero i say you should have earth. This is most likley planet to have civil war. His faction has the badass light infantry that are considered 1337.

My faction is the 1337 in anything heavily armored. Bigger is better in most cases for my faction. I specialize in HEAVY tanks, HEAVY mechs, and HEAVY infantry with railguns.
I am also currently making a prototype mech suit (NOT AN ARMORED CORE)

Also-Alien Temples discovered buried on the moons in my faction as well, I'm inviting everyone to help me figure out what the hell do they do (THESE TEMPLES ARN'T ATLANTIAN)

Also, heres why we don't have warp engines yet-
Not enough power, we have not devise a way to generate enough power. even if we could mass produce antimatter, (which hasn't been discovered yet), you would need three times the mass of the ship to go forward in one direction. Then three times the mass to stop it

Can I have a Parasitic creature Race? I could be the bad guys in this one, there's one I was working on and I think it would fit well into this RP. : ) If not I'm interested and wanna be included. I'm back, I'll be on tomorrow since no ones probably on tonight.

could i possibly be a Primative race? one without technology but warrior's spirit. probbably would focus around Berserkers and melee. spiritual enhancements too.

or possibly a 40's/50's eraish steam punk civilization. possibly a flying city (not space capable)

UPDATE IN RP!
Earth is under attack! Fenix's parasite faction is on earth and has already decimated North America. We currently are trying to cut a line to canada and divide the parasites in half so we can focus on one side first then deal with the rest in NYC

Leaders are now considering of moving the situation into defcon 1 and just simply blow NYC off the globe, but many are against this saying there are still survivors in NYC

The Olympus and The Peagsus and any other ships are currently beginning to evacuate earth until the parasites have been dealt with.....Sadly i sense an ambush and our attack to go to canada will fall short. Also, as NYC and other major cities fell to the parasites, The Uplink System went offline, denying any possible attempts are eridicating the parasites with orbital defence systems.

This is if the planet has a defence system from orbit online. The current planets that i know that has a defence system in orbit to elimnate ground forces are
Alpha Centuari
Earth
Zeros faction
and 1 other colonized human planets have completed orbital defence system

UPDATE! Mobile armors are allowed, but heres their stats

cannot interface human mind with machine (unless its permanent)
it is vulnerable against air support, mechs aren't fast like the movies and shows suggest they are. (espically in space)

Story so far....
Currently we're stuck in orbit around a star searching for the broodmaster (or whatever it was called) that managed to sneak aboard...and Kiri is locked up in the medic bay! Best part is Cszaria is getting hyped up on soda.....

Hi guys, it's been a while
Sorry, it's been real busy with all what's going on, anyways I'll be taking the Andexa system, any rules as to how the rp goes? As in am I limited to what I can colonize, mine, etc. (what's the on that neat map Zero posted)

And as a reminder, the Pioneer RP is a new universe, not the old one. We've abandoned the old one due to overteching.

Uh alpha theres two significant problems to your faction/race. One, we won't be seeing these guys for like 200-300 years (current stardate is around 2150ish AD/CE)
Second Andexa system is nowhere near your faction if it is in this rp. I'm sorry but is it realistic that humanity has alien a humaniod space-faring empire in their backyard? The map above is a human starmap when the rp started. It has since expanded hugely.

P.S. You shouldn't have intergalactic warp technology yet. (i already have a solution to this problem)

That's a separate faction, different race entirely, meant for the old universe but I guess it can be in another universe if we're abandoning the old one.
I'll just use a stand in from Sins I guess. Oh and to get balance I have a simple proposal: We take colonies and planets and such to mine resources (maybe 2-3 standard resources) and use those to "build" fleets so we can't just spawn fleets out of our asses... so to speak. But we'd have to discuss all of the factions ships and how they would not only be factored in balance wise but cost wise and such. Plus we'd have to make a galaxy map. But I'm up for it if you guys are

So my faction will specialize in Airborne troops and air support along with a heavy emphasis on frigates, cruisers and carriers, though not lacking in all the other categories, I'll have to think of stuff... But anyways I'll take a system that hasn't been colonized yet by the current group of people but not too far away from all the events, like maybe 0.2-0.3 light years away, just far enough that you guys haven't reached it yet but not far enough that it'll take my faction forever to interact with you guys. And don't worry, they'll be human...ish.

Downloading it right now, do you guys use it to play a game or just to chat, because there are a lot simpler chat things than xfire...

Well personally I prefer text RPing these days, less time wasted on building and whatnot, and we just generally use Xfire for that nowadays. Not sure how that started out but well, it works.

They started Xfire of courtesy to me and Yuri. I like it a lot, easy to get ahold of everyone. : )
